II What is included

Three plain promises, written down before the booking is taken.

01

A named driver

It is Imran on the booking and Imran at your door. No dispatcher, no roulette, no second-guessing who is in the car when you open the boot.

02

Fixed price in writing

You send a postcode and a date. The full fare comes back on WhatsApp before you confirm. The number quoted is the number paid, with nothing added on the kerb.

03

No rank queue

Pre-booked only. No fighting for a taxi at the rank, no surge windows, no app pricing that doubles between the search and the confirmation.

III About the airport

A single-terminal airport in South Yorkshire.

Doncaster Sheffield Airport sits off the M18, about 45 miles south of Leeds. The site has been brought back into operation under new arrangements after a period of closure, and runs from a single, walkable terminal building.

The terminal

One building, one forecourt

The terminal is compact compared with Manchester or Leeds Bradford. Check-in, security and gates are all under one roof, which keeps the drop-off simple. You step out of the car and you are at the right door.

Carriers

Holiday and short-haul services

The airport hosts a rotating mix of leisure and short-haul operators serving European holiday destinations. Schedules shift season to season, so check the airport directly for the latest list before you book.

The journey

From Leeds, around an hour

A typical run from central Leeds is roughly 45 miles down the M1 and across the M18 to junction 3, around 1 hour 5 minutes in fair traffic. Early-morning departures are usually clear; afternoon pickups need a small buffer for the M1 stretch.

IV From booking to boot

A pickup process without scripts.

Four steps, one person, no in-app chat with a different driver every time. The same number from quote to drop-off.

  1. 01

    You send a postcode

Any LS, BD or WF postcode, your flight date, and the time you would like to set off. WhatsApp is simplest; a phone call works too.

  2. 02

    The fixed quote comes back

Usually within the hour during waking hours. A saloon fare, written down, with nothing added on. Confirm and the slot is held in the diary.

  3. 03

A reminder lands the night before

A short message confirming pickup time, the car, and a number to reach me on. Nothing to print, nothing to install.

  4. 04

A photo and plate on arrival

On the morning, a status update when I set off, and another with a photo of the car when I am outside, plate clearly visible.

I.

V Who is at the wheel

Ten years between West Yorkshire and the Yorkshire airports.

Imran has driven the M1 and M62 corridors since 2015. He knows when the M18 stretch slows, which lane to be in for junction 3, and why a 4:10am set-off from Roundhay is calmer than 4:30am. Licensed by Leeds City Council, DBS-checked, Hire and Reward insured.

VI Frequent Questions

Answered straight, before you ask.

If your question is not here, send it on WhatsApp. The reply is from me, not a chatbot.

01 How long does the journey take?
Roughly 1 hour 5 minutes from central Leeds in fair traffic, around 45 miles via the M1 and M18 to junction 3. Early-morning runs tend to be clear; afternoon pickups get a small buffer for the M1.
02 What is the price?
It depends on your postcode and the time of day. WhatsApp me your pickup postcode, date and rough time, and I will send the fixed price back within the hour. The number you see in the message is the number you pay, with nothing added on the kerb.
03 How long will you wait on the day?
For outbound runs, a five-minute grace at pickup is included; longer waits are agreed up front so nothing is a surprise. For return pickups, I track the inbound flight and the first hour of post-landing wait is free.
04 What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation any time more than 24 hours before pickup. Inside 24 hours, half the agreed fare. Inside two hours of pickup, the full fare. I send a confirmation the day before in case anything has changed at your end.
05 How do I pay?
In the car at the end of the journey: card, contactless, Apple Pay or Google Pay. No deposit is taken for one-off bookings. Bank transfer is available for account customers and corporate bookings.
